Four Episodes, One Expanding Incident
Episode 1: The Crowbar Is Already a Bad Sign
Nick is struggling with an undersized coffin when Rakim catches him holding a crowbar. Sent outside for air, Nick meets Jerry, who wants help recovering money from a failed anti-capitalist coffee shop.
Alice arrives from the neighboring pizzeria and gives Jerry advice of questionable ethical value before reporting to Blake. Her boss has agreed to help Rakim and now expects Alice to cover the crematorium reception desk.
Episode 2: Please Confirm Which Ragnar
Nick and Jack travel to the morgue to collect Mr. Ragnar. The reception area is occupied by a cultist demanding the return of a fallen leader for a burning ritual.
Nick attempts to keep the conversation attached to paperwork. Dr. Feelgood eventually locates a Ragnar file, although his confidence in the identification is not especially reassuring.
Episode 3: A Premium Service and a Shared Oven
Left at reception, Alice meets a wealthy client disappointed by an ordinary funeral arrangement. Alice responds by offering something considerably more exclusive: a diamond created from a loved one’s ashes.
The consequences reach the pizzeria when Blake discovers that his ovens are unusable during an urgent order. Alice notices that the building next door contains several large sources of heat.
Episode 4: The Farewell Ceremony
Alice and Blake deliver their order to a mansion hosting an elaborate Viking-inspired farewell for a beloved dog named Ragnar.
A small detail about Ragnar turns the delivery into a much larger problem. Nick and Alice try to stop the ceremony while the hosts remain committed to arrows, glory and avoiding anything that might spoil the atmosphere.
Final Assessment
No single mistake causes the disaster.
It takes several managers, two businesses, unreliable paperwork, a persuasive cultist, an ambitious employee, a confused doctor, and a client with very specific funeral plans.
In other words, it takes a team.
