After three men are murdered during a private corporate meeting, auditor Nora discovers her signature on a closed property review may connect the killings to concealed structural defects. As Detective Brooks follows the evidence, Nora reopens the records with Adrian, whose history with her is almost as unfinished as the case, and learns how dangerous a clean file can become.
